I'm not so sure that's quite what I meant by pretty! Has it been all written in by prior student owners?

This is a bit random, but I just bought a book you're welcome to have, if you're interested. They were doing a book sale in the SUB (fifty cents to a dollar), and I picked up a copy of Book 1 of Spenser's "Faerie Queene." It's got an 80 page intro that is evidently quite good. Any interest?

Typically a first novelist will shoot for a 100,000 word novel. I'm not sure how Susanna Clarke got away with her 1,000 page first novel!

It has been longtimes since we've seen each other. We were going to try to get down to Greenville a couple of times, then it didn't work out for one reason or another. And now you'll be traveling over spring break and Mom has their thing. Kinda hectic lately!

'Tis a good entry! I don't have a point of reference for how long a 70,000 or 150,000 word book would be, though.

I've not seen you in longtimes.

I know, I almost felt guilty posting this after yours. (BTW, I had thought about linking to your post in this but I wasn't sure if that was okay! Is your blog public?)

You write such good essays. I don't know how you make real life so interesting. Even when you're sleepy. ;)

So so jealous of your warmth.

I am mostly writing essays these days. I have one coming out later this semester in a campus journal, except that I haven't actually finished the final draft yet. Then I'll have to start all over again with something new, the idea of which makes me sleepy.
