Since all the artwork in my house is vintage ad artwork, and since I’ve got a black cat, what more perfectly thematic calendar could I purchase than one featuring vintage ad artwork featuring black cats? (Also, it was the only vintage ad calendar we could get our hands on, but that’s completely beside the point.)
I like a calendar to not look overtly like a calendar, which is why I always go for vintage ad art to go with my decor. But is it so much to ask an unobtrusive calendar not to confuse me? I changed the page today to October, and this is the picture:

This might be a bit of a stretch, but wouldn’t that have been a better image for, I don’t know, February. It’s too small to tell here, but there’s even a February calendar within the picture. Now every time I glance to the right, I’m going to get confused. It’s a good thing we don’t write checks, or else I’d be dating them February and getting into all sorts of trouble.
Also, why does February have that extra R in it?
