Attention Barbara Burt and Gloria Esposito: if you are wondering why the postman never delivers anything to your house, it is because he thinks you live at mine.
Today we didn’t get a single thing addressed to us. It is all Gloria Esposito’s. Even though there is a notecard stuck to the inside of my mailbox which I wrote with my own hand: JEFF AND LISA BURT ONLY! NO ONE ELSE LIVES HERE. DO NOT GIVE US THEIR MAIL.
I guess it makes a little sense that they’re still giving me Barbara Burt’s mail (it used to get delivered to me at my old apartment), though I’m starting to worry about her, as she probably has no life insurance since all her advertisements come here.
There’s just no excuse for Gloria Esposito. Especially since we get all her credit card offers on top of our own, which I think really ought to be illegal because of all that plastic they waste, but junk mail and its effects on the environment are a different soapbox than the United States Mail. No excuse for Janet Yakimishyn, either, who yesterday was deprived of her French-language stamp catalogue.
But you know, with the way US Postage keeps climbing and the value of the dollar keeps plummeting, maybe I ought to start using the Canadian Postal service.
Then maybe someone else would get my junk mail.

I feel your pain. We have lived here for 4 1/2 years and we still get Leo Reeds mail. We have left letters for the mail person and I believe Dan has even talked to them but still we get good old Leo’s mail. Let me know if you stop getting the mail and tell me what you did I would love to know. btw we also have gotten phone calls for Ben for the past 4 1/2 years and I think its from the same lady. Apparently she does not write down that the number is wrong.

I’ve told the post office itself a million times. I think there’s no cure for it! How hard is it to NOT put the mail in the box? Grrr
I get a lot of calls for someone else, as well, from lots of different people. How annoying to get them from the same lady all the time!
