My brother, the model?

Ordinarily when making a post like this, I’d be mildly afraid my brother, affectionately known as Cersey Gerger in our own private language, would be a little put out with me for posting an embarrassing picture of him at the delicate age of 13, but seeing as it’s already made its way around Facebook, which means every student at Baylor (because Cersey Gerger knows them all) has seen it, I fancy it’s all right to post here on my blog which nobody ever comments on. (Why are ye all silent, people?)

Apparently, unbeknownst to me, Cersey Gerger served as the reference for Mary GrandPre when she was designing the cover art for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:

Goblet of FireGregor Potter

You can’t argue that Greg doesn’t look just like that illustration of Harry. After all, when I posted on his Facebook wall that the picture Jason had tagged him of looked just like the cover of Goblet, Greg replied that he’d just said the same thing to his girlfriend.

Our minds are frighteningly alike sometimes…

And I do realize that I’ve written a lot of Harry Potter-related posts lately. Can’t help it. The book comes out in a little more than a month, and I’m so excited!!
